How to play
Predict the FIFA 2026 knockouts, score points, climb the leaderboard.
1 · The game
You predict every knockout match across all 5 rounds — Round of 32 → Round of 16 → Quarter-finals → Semi-finals → Final. For each match you enter a score. The team you pick to win automatically advances to the next round on your bracket, so your whole run flows from your Round of 32 picks down to your champion.
2 · Scoring
Each match earns you one of the following — they don't add together:
Wrong winner
The team you picked didn't advance.
Winner only
You picked the team that advanced (even vs a different opponent), but not the exact score.
Winner + exact score
The same 5 points plus a 3-point bonus for nailing the exact scoreline.
So the most a match can give is 8 points — that's 5 for the winner with the 3-point exact-score bonus included. It is not 5 + 8.
3 · Example, step by step
Imagine in the Round of 32 you sent both Germany and France through to the next round.
Round of 32
Round of 16
On your bracket the next match is Germany vs France — the two teams you advanced. But France lost in the Round of 32, so the real match is Germany vs Sweden.
Why 5 and not 8? You backed Germany to go through and they did, so you earn the 5 winner points. You miss the +3 bonus only because the actual opponent (Sweden, not France) and the scoreline weren't an exact match.
4 · Draws & penalties
Knockout matches can't end level. If you predict an equal score, you'll be asked who wins the penalty shootout — that team advances on your bracket.
5 · Deadline
Edit and re-submit your bracket as often as you like until it locks — 30 minutes before the first match kicks off. After that it's read-only and you just watch the points roll in.
6 · The leaderboard
Everyone is ranked by total points. Ties are broken by the most exact scores, then by who submitted first.
